A Monster Calls : Patrick Ness

Hey Friends, today I am here with a new review.

A Monster Calls is an incredibly sad and tragic book. Although it'll leave you in tears it's an important book. It'll make you think of losing the person who means most to you and how to show them gratitude to the things they sacrifice for you.

SUMMARY:

Connor O'Malley a 13 year-old boy is dealing with far more than other boys his age. His beloved mother is suffering from Cancer. After his mother is sent to the hospital he has to stay with his commanding grand mother. His father is living far away with his own family in America. When a mysterious monster knocks on his window one night the monster teaches Connor faith, trust and courage.

An AMAZING book.

I give this book 5 stars! I give it 5 stars because its an amazing story. If you haven't read it your missing out.

AGE RATING:

I think this book is appropriate for ages 12 and up.
